Support Workers in Muscatine

On August 22, 2008 Grain Processing Corporation of Muscatine (GPC), Ia. locked out 350 bargaining employees, 300 of which are in UFCW Local 86D.

These workers have been without work for weeks now, fighting to preserve quality jobs that set the standards for pay and benefits in the Muscatine community.

They work hard for GPC. Tell the Company to give the workers the respect they deserve.

A good contract for area workers is not just a business agreement. It provides the public service of protecting good jobs for good people who want to be able to support their families. It strengthens communities, and also strengthens businesses.
